Georgia Gould (Luna Chix) Wins Sea Otter Pro Cross Country

The Sea Otter professional UCI cross country race was held on the final day of Sea Otter. The temperatures were forcasted to be hotter than normal for mid-April and because of this, the women’s professional cross country race was shortened to “bring race times closer to UCI ideals.”

I was able to talk to some of the women after they had finished and all of the women I talked to told me that when they initially learned that their race was shortened, they were unhappy but once they were out on the course, sweating under the sun, they very happy that their race had been shortened.
